Hello there, my name is Yutong Jiang, I'm an undergraduate student of University of Wisconsin-Madison. I'm majoring in cartography. I study, explore and create maps. Interactive Web Map Development: Engaged in creating and optimizing Leaflet interactive web map visualizations; enhanced the visualization aspect to include interactive features that allow users to explore and analyze crop yield data efficiently. Database Management: Responsible for maintaining, updating, and ensuring the integrity of the crop yield geodatabase. Employed advanced data mining techniques to extract valuable information, supporting ongoing research and development efforts in the lab.

Sinovation Ventures

Using Artificial Intelligence and programming languages to explore the using of AI algorithms in daily lives. For example, Random Forest (Random Forest) algorithm can be used to predict trait-related genome-level mutation sites; Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is widely used in the calculation of protein group spacing and medical image recognition technology. In this competition, I used Adobe Illustrator to design the graphic design and interactive design of this project and I recorded the video that presented and introduced our project about alpha fold technology application. In this internship, I improved my ability to cooperate in interdisciplinary and multi-professional teamwork, and learned to communicate with each other, cooperate, and use the strength of the team to develop creativity.

Data management and processing

Shanghai City GIS Developing Co.,Ltd, Shanghai, China

Use arcmap and arcgis pro to digitize the printed map and combine the digital map with the data set to make a digital street map of Shanghai. Use image annotation software to annotate different elements in the map. Through this work experience, I learned the operation process of arcgis pro and arcmap, understood the relationship between map datasets and digital maps, and learned how to combine digital maps and datasets in practical operations.
